    The Roman Road

The Roman Road consist of five (5) scripture verses that can lead men, women, boys and girls to God. They are spiritual truths found in the Book of Romans, which explains its name.

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God: Romans 3:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Romans 6:23

But God commended his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: Romans 10:9

For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved: Romans 10:13

If you believe the message of the Roman Road, and want to accept God’s free gift of salvation right now, here’s a basic prayer for you. Again, this is not a ritual based on any specific words, but rather, a guideline for your sincere step of faith.

“God, I ask You to forgive me of my sins. I believe in Jesus Christ and in His death on the cross for my sins, and his resurrection from the dead.  I ask You to enter my life right now, and provide me strength as I commit my life to You this day. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
